If's new business name is If P&C Insurance AS

From 12 June 2009, If is changing its business name to If P&C Insurance AS. If belongs to the leading Scandinavian non-life insurance group, If P&C Insurance Holding AB, which is owned by the Sampo Group. The new name will bring the Estonian If into line with the name of its parent body.

The name change does not bring with it any additional obligations for our clients and co-operation partners, and no changes have to be made to any of our insurance contracts. All insurance contracts that were concluded with If, and the rights and obligations arising from them, will remain in force. Furthermore, our contact telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and the web site address will remain the same.

Amendments due to the name change

From 12 June 2009 we ask that you pay all premiums in the name of If P&C Insurance AS, or issue any invoices to that name. If’s commercial register code of 10100168 will remain the same.

This name change which is being made in Estonia is related to the union of the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian If insurance companies, and the founding of what is now the leading Baltic insurance company, in July 2009. The name change for the Estonian If coincides with similar name changes for the Latvian and Lithuanian branches.

The aim of this structural change is to offer a faster and more efficient loss adjustment and services to the Baltic insurance market.

If is the biggest and best known insurance company in Estonia. Our offices are represented in all of Estonia’s counties. We offer our clients the opportunity of buying their insurance via the Internet or by telephone. You can find the most favourable offers in If’s e-office and you can also buy your insurance or ask for advice by calling If on the insurance telephone number, 1211.
