About the role

We are searching for a Data Analyst in Product and Underwriting unit who will play an important role in driving insurance data analysis towards excellence in If Baltic. You will support product managers by performing data modelling and predicting product performance. Also, you will be advancing existing reports, dashboards, and automating processes.
 

What are you going to do?

  • Perform data modelling to predict future product performance or company core profitability.
  • Predict, experiment and test hypotheses, develop data analysis tools, automate as much as possible.
  • Work with large amount of various data to support product development and pricing decisions as well as improve customer experience.
  • Advance existing reports and create new reports / dashboards to support product managers in monitoring of product portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at the Baltic level, ensuring effective communication and coordination to achieve common goals and drive successful project outcomes.

What do we expect from you?

Must have

  • Passion for numbers and pursuit to transfer large amounts of data into clear business decisions.
  • Good communication skills, coupled with a desire to learn and collaborate with others.
  • Solid knowledge in SQL, MS Excel, and data visualization skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or econometrics.
  • At least 3 years work experience in an analytical or actuarial role.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to understand one of the Baltic languages.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Python, and Power BI.
  • Previous work experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience collaborating across functions within an international context.

  • Monthly salary: From €3100-4000* gross depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, there is an annual bonus. (*Please note that the specific amount may vary due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries.)
