Your pet insurance is valid throughout geographical Europe.*

We cover diagnostic and treatment costs up to your selected limit for each illness or trauma, even if treatment takes several clinic visits. This includes consultation fees, diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation, veterinary aids, medicines, prescribed supplements, and medical materials.

To count as sudden and unexpected, symptoms must start during the insurance period. Cover starts on the date shown in your policy. For operations, biopsies, MRI scans, and CT scans cover starts after a 3-month waiting period.

We do not cover routine care, such as vaccinations, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. We also do not cover consultation or diagnostic costs if your pet does not need treatment, or costs related to chronic or congenital conditions.

We cover dental and gum treatment or tooth extraction if needed due to sudden illness or trauma.

Dental hygiene, including tartar removal, is not covered.

If your pet dies due to a sudden illness or trauma, we pay a one-time amount equal to the sum insured. This includes euthanasia on veterinary advice.

The illness must start during the insurance period. A 3-month waiting period applies.

If your pet is lost or stolen, we pay a one-time amount equal to the sum insured.

If your pet goes missing, we cover reasonable and necessary costs, such as search and advertising costs, finder’s fee, and care costs (food, shelter) while your pet is with the finder or shelter.

We cover damage your pet causes to other people or their property when you are legally responsible. For example, if your dog injures another pet or damages someone’s belongings.

Damage to your landlord’s property and to people living in the same household is not covered.
